A house built around a single stone.
Design Approach
At the center of the design stands a single material: travertine. Weaving the facade, the floors and the fireplace from the same stone, we let the space read as one continuous whole; the details disappear into the veins of the stone.
Generous openings and concealed frames lighten the massiveness of the stone. At night, recessed lighting draws its texture out like a relief.
