A second house in the mirror of the water.
Design Approach
Pool and lake were brought to the same level; the water becomes an unbroken mirror before the villa. Doubled in that mirror, the building appears lighter than it is.
Pared-back eaves and deep shadows read the shifting daylight like a clock. In the evening, warm lighting draws a second villa across the surface of the water.
