Landscape Architecture

The building is finished; the work is completed by its garden.

Landscape architecture brings the land, the climate and the building together in a single living scenario. In Vesya's villa and hotel projects, the garden is never an ornament thought of after the building — it is the natural extension of the concept: plant, stone, water and light composed by the same hand.

Overview

What is landscape architecture?

Landscape architecture is the design of open spaces on scientific and aesthetic principles, built upon a site's topography, climate, soil and existing fabric. What separates it from garden decoration is scale and method: a landscape architect does not simply choose plants — they resolve the slope of the land, the path of water, the wind, the view axes and the relationship with the building in a single project.

A good landscape design balances hardscape (walkways, terraces, walls, pool surrounds) with softscape (planting, lawn, tree fabric); it makes irrigation and drainage infrastructure invisible; it keeps the garden livable through four seasons and every hour of the day. A landscape built wrong leaves even the strongest architecture unfinished — plants left without water, ground that pools, a garden that vanishes at night.

At Vesya, the landscape is designed at the same table as the building. The villa's stone palette continues into the garden wall; the interior lighting scenario spills out into the garden; pool, terrace and green fabric form one composition. From concept to turnkey — garden included — one signature.

Light is part of the landscape

Our landscape design process

From raw land to a living garden; four clear steps.

A landscape project begins with site analysis, gains character through planting and materials, and is completed by light and infrastructure — each step preparing the ground for the next.

We read the topography, soil, climate, prevailing wind, sun path and view axes; with an inventory of existing trees and fabric, the project's given conditions become clear.

Survey & Site Analysis — Gündüz

We compose the hardscape–softscape balance, circulation, privacy screens and the outdoor living areas (terrace, lounge, dining, pool) in the same language as the architecture.

Concept & Layout — Gündüz

We pair a climate-appropriate, low-water plant palette (olive, lavender, myrtle, ornamental grasses) with natural stone and wood — aiming for color and texture continuity across four seasons.

Planting & Materials — Gündüz

We design the landscape lighting scenario, the drip irrigation and the drainage; our own teams complete the build, and we plan the first maintenance season.

Which projects?

The landscape carries different priorities for each project type.

Villa garden landscaping

Privacy, the pool surround, outdoor living areas and easy upkeep come first; the garden is an extension of the villa's daily life.

Hotel & resort landscaping

The guest experience is composed from arrival to room terrace; shade, walking axes and the night atmosphere feed brand perception as much as occupancy.

Pool surrounds & outdoor living

Non-slip natural stone, the balance of sun and shade, outdoor kitchen and fire pit — a safe, cinematic layer of life around the water.

Why Vesya?

01

One spine with the architecture

The garden is designed at the same table as the building; material and language continuity never breaks — one signature, garden included.

02

Thinking in light

The landscape is built with both its day and night scenarios; the garden doesn't disappear after dark — it becomes the stage of the evening.

03

A living, climate-fit garden

The right low-water plant palette and invisible infrastructure; a landscape that doesn't wilt in its first summer — and grows more beautiful with the years.

Pre-Quote / Simulation

Let's make your garden part of the work.

For your villa or hotel, we'll unite land, plant, water and light in a single landscape spine — with a clear concept and a transparent roadmap from day one.

It is the design of a site's open spaces with regard to topography, climate and the building — uniting planting, hardscape, water features, irrigation-drainage infrastructure and landscape lighting in one project. Unlike garden decoration, the work runs as a scaled design with engineering coordination.

Vesya Project Team

Site analysis, layout plan, planting design, walkways and terraces, the pool surround, privacy screens, drip irrigation and drainage, and landscape lighting. At Vesya, the build and a first-season maintenance plan are part of the process.

We choose by climate and soil; in Mediterranean climates, low-water species such as olive, lavender, myrtle, rosemary and ornamental grasses come first. The aim is a garden that doesn't wilt in its first summer, carries texture and color through four seasons, and stays easy to maintain.

Vesya Project Team

Ideally, yes. When level decisions, infrastructure routes and the pool and terrace relationships are resolved in step with the building, costs fall and unity survives. We also take on standalone landscape projects for existing villas.

A garden lives in the evening; a well-composed scenario makes walking safe, stages the trees and textures, and puts the pool at the center of the atmosphere. At Vesya, the lighting scenario is designed together with the landscape concept — never added after.

Vesya Project Team

Concept and design typically take 2–4 weeks depending on scope; the build is planned by garden scale and season. At handover we provide irrigation automation and a first-season maintenance roadmap; ongoing seasonal care is available on request.
